{More} About Me

Welcome! I am so glad you are here!  I am Alyssa aka The Recipe Critic.  I have a passion for cooking.  I always have.  I love trying new things and I am always testing them out with my family.  Some recipes don't always turn out.  We love being able to rate the things that we try and give our input on how the recipe can be improved or changed.  I feel like I spend most of my time making something in the kitchen,  but my family loves all of the treats and wonderful meals that we eat together. 

I married one hunk of a guy in the Salt Lake City Temple in 2012.   I won him over instantly with my cooking.  They say the best way to a guys heart is through his stomach.  I was a very girly girl until I had two boys.  Now we find fun in digging for bugs, monster truck shows and all that fun boy stuff.  We enjoy doing things together as a family and love our new life together.  These are our most recent family pictures taken by my favorite photographer, K-O photography.  She is so amazing at what she does and captures the moment perfectly.  

These are my two cute boys Ben and Luke.  Luke my youngest, is the pickiest eater created.  He always says that my cooking is horrible.  Ben doesn't understand why little brother hates my cooking.  He LOVES it.  His favorite meal is my avocado enchiladas.  He always has seconds.  Hopefully little brother will come around one of these days!
